Witt McLeod, attorney at Belt, Bruner & Barnett was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama and earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2015. Following his undergraduate studies, Witt attended the University of Mississippi and was awarded his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2018. Witt was licensed to practice law in Alabama in 2018 and in Tennessee in 2020.
Witt has dedicated his entire legal career to fighting for justice for victims.
Following graduation from law school, Witt began his career as a personal injury attorney in Birmingham, where he gained experience through representing individuals injured in car accidents, by consumer products, and by medical drugs and devices. Subsequently, Witt moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he focused on personal injury law, and more specifically, automobile and truck accidents, as well as premises liability cases, before returning to his hometown of Birmingham. Witt understands how important each case and each client is and appreciates the opportunity to serve and help his clients in their time of need. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2021-2023.
Witt currently lives in Birmingham with his wife Allison. When he’s not practicing law at Belt, Bruner & Barnett Personal Injury Lawyers, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and playing golf.
